Who can enter?

Any GMC-registered doctor, dermatologist or surgeon or GDC-registered dentist working with the aesthetics industry in the UK or Republic of Ireland.

How will this category be judged?

The shortlist will be created based on two factors. Firstly, a shortlisting judging panel will score the entries on how they meet the required criteria. Secondly, entrants will be able to ask patients, industry peers and suppliers to vote for them and the number of votes received will contribute to the shortlisting score. The winner will then be decided by the judging panel taking into consideration their entry, the results of a mystery shop and a judging panel interview. Entrants must be prepared to participate in a judging panel interview in London or via video conference call and to provide a free consultation for the mystery shopper.

Criteria

The winner will demonstrate that they excel in the following areas:

  • A commitment to high levels of patient care and safety
  • Demonstration of ongoing professional education, training and revalidation, where applicable
  • A minimum of one patient case study that demonstrates your skills as an aesthetic medical practitioner
  • Testimonials from patients
  • Evidence of the clinical expertise
  • Ethical provision of treatments and adherence to best practice
  • Significant contribution to the industry and their profession in the last 12 months

Who can enter?

Any NMC-registered nurse working with the aesthetics industry in the UK or Republic of Ireland.

How will this category be judged?

Who can enter?

Any aesthetic therapist who runs their own business or works within a clinic in the UK or Republic of Ireland. *Please note we will not except entries from any therapists who perform injectable treatments such as botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.

How will this category be judged?

Any practice/business manager working within an aesthetic clinic in the UK or Republic of Ireland.

How will this category be judged?

The short list will be created based on two factors. Firstly, a shortlisting judging panel will score the entries how they meet the required criteria. Secondly, entrants will be able to ask patients, industry peers and suppliers to vote for them and the number of votes received will contribute to the shortlisting score. The winner will then be decided by the judging panel taking into consideration their entry and, in particular, testimonials from staff, clients and customers who interact and work with the practice manager. A judging visit will also be carried out to the clinic to see the practice manager at work so entrants must be prepared to make themselves available for this.

Criteria

Entrants will have to demonstrate outstanding performance in the following areas:

  • Demonstration of hard work, dedication and drive in managing and growing the practice
  • Examples of outstanding work
  • Overcoming hurdles and dealing with challenges within the business
  • Evidence of good leadership skills, including examples of when and how you have lead the team from the front
  • Testimonials which demonstrate how you have gone beyond the call of duty
  • Forward thinking initiatives to drive the business forward

Who can enter?

Any person working on front of house/clinic reception within an aesthetic clinic in the UK or Republic of Ireland.

How will this category be judged?

The short list will be created based on two factors. Firstly, a shortlisting judging panel will score the entries how they meet the required criteria. Secondly, entrants will be able to ask patients, industry peers and suppliers to vote for them and the number of votes received will contribute to the shortlisting score. The winner will then be decided by the judging panel taking into consideration their entry, mystery shopping phone calls, a judging visit to observe the receptionist at work and testimonials from staff, clients and customers who interact and work with the receptionist.

Criteria

Entrants will have to demonstrate outstanding performance in the following areas:

  • Call handling skills and telephone etiquette
  • Excellent customer service and interaction with clients
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Evidence that you support the clinic team in your role as receptionist
  • Testimonials which demonstrate how you have gone beyond the duty of patient care
  • Feedback from staff and colleagues who work at the clinic

Practice Categories

Who can enter?

Anyone running a clinic based in the UK or Republic of Ireland that opened before the end of 2016 who employs a team of staff. *Product brands and suppliers are not eligible to enter this award.

How will this category be judged?

A shortlisting judging panel will score the entries based on how they meet the required criteria. The winner will then be decided by the judging panel taking into consideration their entry, a survey of the staff employed at the business and the report produced as a result of a judging visit. Entrants must be prepared to make their staff available to complete this survey.

Criteria

The winner will demonstrate that they excel in the following areas:

  • A commitment to high levels of staff care
  • Demonstration of offering and encouraging ongoing education and training and development for your staff
  • Testimonials from staff
  • Evidence of supporting your staff to grow and progress through the business
  • Outstanding management skills
  • Evidence of employment policies that demonstrate your commitment to your staff

Who can enter?

Any aesthetic clinic team based in the UK or Republic of Ireland.

How will this category be judged?

The short list will be created based on two factors. Firstly, a shortlisting judging panel will score the entries on how they meet the required criteria. Secondly, entrants will be able to ask patients, industry peers and suppliers to vote for them and the number of votes received will contribute to the shortlisting score. The winner will then be decided by the judging panel taking into consideration their entry and, in particular, testimonials from staff, clients and customers about the team. A judging visit will also be carried out to observe the team and meet them face to face.

Criteria

Entrants will have to demonstrate outstanding performance in the following areas:

  • Evidence that your team is special and deserves recognition
  • Demonstration that the team works cohesively to make sure the patient receives the best results as efficiently as possible
  • Excellent customer and patient care
  • A positive atmosphere and team spirit within the clinic

Any aesthetic clinic based in the UK or Republic of Ireland.

How will this category be judged?

Any clinic based in the UK or Republic of Ireland which has opened in the last 18 months.

How will this category be judged?

Media Categories

Who can enter?

Any website associated with a clinic that is based in the UK or Republic of Ireland.

How will this category be judged?

A judging panel will go through the entries to create a shortlist. People will also be able to vote for the website they think is the best on the MyFaceMyBody website. The shortlisted websites will be tested by mystery shoppers who will feed back to the judges on how accessible, informative and user-friendly they found the site to be and what they thought about its look and design.

Criteria

Entrants will have to demonstrate outstanding performance in the following areas:

  • Provision of excellent, original and helpful information for people looking to learn more about your clinic and the treatments you offer
  • A website that is assessable and easy to navigate
  • A website that is educational and consumer focused
  • Ethical promotion of products and treatments including POMs
  • A website that works efficiently on mobile devices
  • Links to social media
  • Content such as blogs and educational articles
  • Video content
  • A website that is visually attractive and has a well thought out design
